Verdi, NV – September 12, 2012 – Snow Park Technologies (SPT) is excited to announce that Josh Chauvet has been named Resort Program Marketing Director. Chauvet’s primary responsibilities are the development and management of SPT’s resort marketing programs and initiatives.
“It’s an honor to be back with SPT and working with the best team in the business. I intend to bring a level of marketing experience that compliments the operational strength of SPT, allowing for continued growth into the future.”
Chauvet returns to SPT after having previously worked at the company from 2002 to 2006 as the Operations Manager. While at SPT, Chauvet helped to grow the resort and event business in its early years. “Josh returns to the SPT family during a period of growth and change for our brand,” said Chris “Gunny” Gunnarson, SPT’s President. “In the past, Josh was instrumental in the development of the SPT Park Program. Over the years, the program has evolved and as we embark on a new chapter with our SPT partner resorts, and with our increased focus on company-wide marketing initiatives, he is a welcomed addition to the team.”
Chauvet most recently held the position of Action Sports Brand Manager at Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA, where he worked to revitalize the terrain park program by establishing a new branding and content strategy, redesigning park flow, along with developing the “Art Park”, the first-ever rideable art gallery.
Chauvet’s experience also includes Action Sports Manager at Mountain High in Wrightwood, CA and Marketing Manager at Nikita Clothing in San Francisco, CA.
